Inspired by Kundalini, “the coiled power”, and is often depicted or described as relating to snake or serpent energy coiled at the base of the spine. In Hinduism, Kundalini is described as a form of Shakti, the divine feminine energy, that lies at the base of the spine dormant, until it is awakened and travels upward toward the crown and liberation.
The Crawl honors Kundalini with each pillar of arm and planet representing an individual being with the serpent energy awakening at its base. Each of us on our own journey, each of us uniquely beautiful, yet each of us similar as we make the crawl toward our highest selves.
Note: I have done research to the best of my ability to make sure the information above is accurate to the best of my knowledge. If there is something that I am misrepresenting or understanding I am always happy to learn and grow. There is only so much I can fit succinctly so this is a condensed version of the description.
